He began his journalistic career at municipal and neighborhood radio stations in Barcelona before joining the news department of Catalunya Ràdio, where he was the weekend editor, presenter of the program «Economia i Empresa,» and correspondent in Brussels, among other roles. He was part of the first editorial team of the newspaper Ara as the head of the International section. He currently covers political news at Catalunya Ràdio and chairs the Association of European Journalists of Catalonia. His research focus has led him to trace the return of Catalan radio after Francoism. He obtained his doctorate from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona with a thesis on the genesis, crisis, and reorientation of the first radio project of the Generalitat (1975-1985).
