Ana Alonso has a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Alcalá de Henares, in Journalism from the Carlos III University and has completed a Master’s degree in Radio from RNE and the Complutense University of Madrid.

She has developed her professional career at RNE, Radio 3, Carne Cruda, M80, Podium Podcast and Penguin Random House. At Cadena Ser she has worked as a scriptwriter, producer, announcer, collaborator…

Due to her training in acting and her work as an actress, she soon became interested in audio fiction: she has participated in many sound fictions of Radio Nacional and has directed the three seasons of “El Grande Apagón” of Podium Podcast. In this same platform she has premiered two seasons of “Guerra 3”, “Ídolos” and the series “Menlo Park” produced by Storytel.

She is also director of fictions such as “Cuento de Navidad”, ‘Clara Conquista’ (Colombine Award 2022) or “Las películas del invierno” (Cadena SER).

She has worked as a producer in the digital department of Penguin Random House and has formed teams of readers and directors of audiobooks.

She holds the Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude (specializing in “Spanish Language and Literature”) and has completed training in Leadership at EOI. He teaches courses and lectures for different organizations, including the ‘Hay Festival’, the SGAE or the School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid (ECAM).

In recent years she has been responsible for fiction at Podium Podcast and since 2021 she has been Head of SER Podcast.
